Idaho College Makes Program History Headed To NCAA Tournament

Idaho sports are ones that we all love to cheer on. Usually when it comes to college sports we end up cheering for Boise State University but there's another Idaho school that is currently stealing the Spotlight.

Idaho State Softball is currently making headlines around the college softball world because they just punched their ticket and made the NCAA tournament for the first time in program history.

It's not the first time we've seen an Idaho college be the underdog in an NCAA tournament, just a few months ago we were cheering on University of Idaho in the Men's Basketball NCAA Tournament. Now it's Idaho State Softball's turn! They got their spot in the tournament by winning the Big Sky Tournament and it was all very exciting,      

Now they will have to play to win in it all in the NCAA tournament. They're first game was just announced to be against University of Oregon. This is already going to be a very exciting match up and everyone can't wait to see it play out. Will the Idaho State Bengal's be the tournament's Cinderella Story? We certainly hope so!
