Is there a Boise weekend more iconic than 'Treefort Weekend'?

For the year 2025, all numbers point to: nope!

Perhaps there was something to Treefort Music Fest's 'Lucky 13th'--that's 13 years of the festival--or maybe we just know and love this thing enough to know we CAN'T miss out. At the end of the day, the afterglow surrounding Treefort has been amazing.

Taking place March 26th through the 30th, over 420 bands played at a total of 52 different venues.

People showed up for the shows, too. That's putting it lightly.

Event organizers estimate a 20% increase in attendance with an estimated 15,000 to 17,000 attendees each day.

Eric Gilbert, Festival Director, commented on the amazing turnout:

I’m incredibly proud of what our team accomplished this past year. After a focused effort to restore the sustainability and future of the festival, Treefort 2025 was stronger than ever. This year marked our most successful edition to date — not just in numbers, but in spirit. It was a testament to the dedication of our staff, the support of our community, and the power of creative resilience. We’re excited about the road ahead and deeply grateful for everyone who helped make it possible.

While 5-Day Wristbands did sell out, it was fun to see how well many of the free venues, events and gatherings drew folks out.

Wondering just how many events too place? Organizers counted up a total of 790!

Counting down to Treefort Music Fest 2026? We are, too.
