Thunderbirds Return to Mountain Home Air Force Base (Photos)
The United States Air Force Thunderbirds demonstration team arrived at Mt. Home Air Force Base today, in preparation to perform at the Gunfighter Skies airshow this weekend (June 2nd and 3rd). KIDO Talk Radio's Ray Amaya was there to capture their arrival.
The Thunderbirds were in Idaho last October for the Gowen Thunder Air Show in Boise. The Air Force brought in the F22 Fighters. You've probably heard about the elite plane. Make sure you go to Mountain Home AFB this weekend to see them in action.
If you've ever been fascinated with flight, or wondered how the Air Force protects our nation from its enemies, then you want to make sure you check out the Gun Fighter Skies. The event is free and open to the public. Gates open at 830am. The action starts at 10:30am, so buckle up. Click here for more information.
