I-84 Westbound to Close in Caldwell Tomorrow
More work, less lanes.
According to KTVB, the Idaho Transportation Department plans to work on I-84 every weekend in June to fix the deteriorated parts of the freeway after the harsh winter.
The work will kick off tomorrow (6/2) at 7p. m. and will last through Monday (6/5) at 5 a.m.
The plan is to cross over traffic to the eastbound side of I-84 and reduce the freeway to one lane in each direction between the "Franklin Road interchange in Caldwell and the Franklin Boulevard interchange in Nampa. The westbound on- and off-ramps at the Franklin Road, Karcher Boulevard and Northside Boulevard interchanges will be closed."
Work will be continued on the following weekends: June 9-12, June 16-19 and June 23-26.
