A Boise woman along with her father has taken Halloween decorating to a whole new level. We're so sure that you'll be amazed that you'll agree they didn't just win Halloween... they won the year.

There's decorating and then there's this...

For some people, Halloween is their once-a-year moment to leave it all out there. Some people throw huge and lavish parties while others spend a good amount of time working on the details of their costumes.

Then there is Alexz and her father, Marty.

The father-daughter duo epically "won" Halloween last year with an elaborate Halloween decor set-up inspired by Jams Wan movies that drew the attention and praise of the Hollywood director himself.

That is how serious and detailed their decorations are.

This year... Stephen King inspired the set-up

No detail was overlooked in the making of this epic Halloween set-up.

"We started collecting junk in May and then really building in August," Alexz shared with us exclusively, "The last week of September my parents stayed here in Boise at my place and my dad and I would work sun up til sun down non-stop."

"I would stay up til about 3 or 4 (in the morning) finishing details. Hundreds. Hundred of hours."

You can certainly tell too! Alexz and her dad, Marty took every detail seriously from the text on the typewriter in The Shining to Pennywise the Clown's backdrop.

"Pennywise’s backdrop is made from 300-400 milk gallon jugs," Alexz shared, "We spent months collecting, cutting, and melting them into bubble shapes. I’m really proud of that innovation and how well it worked."

Don't think for a second Alexz and Marty didn't enjoy it either. The horror fans look forward to amazing the community as well as fellow horror fans.

Alexz shares her work on her social media accounts which you can follow at @iAmSpookyPooky on TikTok and Instagram. She shared that fellow Stephen King fans have been noticing all of the details in her and her father's work.

"Stephen King fans have been pretty eagle-eyed in noticing the details," Alexz says.

Where can you see the set-up?

The house is located at 9550 W. Lindfield Dr. and Alexz says they leave the lights on every single night for visitors to see.

"Lights are on every night!" Alexz says, "On weekends, Pennywise is dancing but I’m more than happy to turn him on if people come any night or time if I’m home, which I almost always am."

"They can message me on my social media or knock. I really want people to walk through it. I love meeting and greeting people who take the time to come out, support us, and see it all in person."
