5 Planets Visible in Idaho in One Night? Yes, Please!
Okay, this is wild and it's another reason to add to your list of why you love Idaho. According to a story from KTVB.com, if you're able to get outside in the next couple of days, you could be witnessing an event that won't occur again until 2040.
What the hell is happening in the skies of Idaho?
The skies of Idaho are mysterious enough but a once in a lifetime event is occurring over the next couple of days that might have some people confused if they don't know what's going on.
According to a report from KTVB, a professor named Dr. Brian Jackson in BSU's physics department says that you'll be to witness a once-in-a-lifetime event in the next couple of days in Idaho.
Apparently, a planetary alignment involving Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Uranus is taking place and Idahoans can catch a glimpse! Thanks to the breaking news report from KTVB, Dr. Jackson shared the optimal time to witness the alignment:
Jupiter and Mercury are very close to the sun right now. The best time to view these two planets will be right after sunset, and they will be close to the sun on the western horizon. Jackson said that, following that, if people look up toward the left they will be able to see Venus (it will look like a very bright star), and then very close to that will be Uranus.
This is just another reason Idaho is amazing. It's a state where you can see the Northern Lights, mountains, a planetary alignment, and Aaron Paul all in one day.
