Idaho is certainly getting a lot bigger. More and more and more people want to move Idaho pretty single day. Honestly, we think that it could be a good thing it leads to new businesses and more friendly faces. But we understand that a lot of people would disagree. A lot of the times when local idahoans find out you you are from California they are not too pleased. If you want to fit in in Idaho you have to be able to pronounce all of the local terms correctly. Otherwise you may embarrass yourself in front of locals who have lived here their entire lives.

A lot of times a local can spot someone who has recently moved to Idaho in a matter of seconds. This is especially prominent on social media when someone posts something that they think is cool. But the number one giveaway is when you mispronounce a name that Idahoans believe only has one correct way to be pronounced.
