No, You Can’t Plant A BOMB On A Train In Idaho. Duh.
It's 2025, and that means it's a brand-new opportunity to try and accomplish those goals you've been putting off.
Wait, your goal is to plant a bomb on a train?
Ok, ok. Maybe we spoke too fast.
A 40-year-old Idaho man was arrested when an explosive device was discovered on a railcar in Payette.
Yes, you read that correctly. Obviously, this person doesn't make the smartest decisions. Which is further evident by the fact that they were caught by police who used footprints in the snow to catch the perp in question.
Why did this 40-year-old Payette man try to blow up a train? According to police, the suspect said he was:
just trying to make a loud explosion or loud boom. He said he did not have any intentions of damaging property or harming anyone.
Call us crazy, but don't explosive devices tend to damage things around them? We've lost enough rounds in Nuketown on Call of Duty to know that when you light an explosive, things explode.
So, let's make it our collective New Year's Resolution in 2025 to not put explosive on things. Actually, let's just avoid explosives entirely? Seems like a lot of work.

This is just the latest in what feels to be like a string of train-related near-disasters as of late. Take a look at these photos from a recent scene in Seattle, where emergency workers were barely able to save the life of a man in peril:
