Northern Lights Cast Magic Over Idaho Skies in Stunning New Photos
What on earth is a 'geomagnetic storm' and why were we experiencing these above Idaho so much this year? We certainly aren't complaining--and while the scientific answers may be above our pay grade, sharing the pictures of this 'storm' certainly isn't!
We received word from the Northwest Weather Service going into the night of October 7th and early morning hours of October 8th that this peculiar kind of storm was going to impact Idaho--and while the name makes it sound like some sort of scary sci-fi nightmare, it's actually one of the most magical things ever!
The aurora borealis, also known as 'The Northern Lights' took to the skies above Idaho just last night!
