Small Idaho Airport Announces Nonstop Flights to 8 Major Cities

Traveling to and from Idaho can certainly be a challenge depending on where you're coming from or where you would like to go. Idaho is an amazing state and we love Idaho! However, from time to time we do like to vacation and doing so is an adventure at times.

The size of the airport doesn't matter going into the winter, as four airlines are expanding nonstop service from Sun Valley, Idaho to other major cities

Flying direct to the likes of Phoenix, Chicago, and Los Angeles can be difficult from Boise at times.

There are lots of airports and runways across Idaho, but only Boise has our 'real' hub to major cities. The Boise Airport doesn't even have "international" status as all flights are domestic, but if you want to "get out" you'll likely need to fly out of Boise (or Spokane, if you're up north).

Layovers are hardly a problem for Sun Valley travelers this winter.

What's the reason behind the seasonal increase? Well, we here in Idaho know all about Sun Valley's world class ski slopes and luxury winter vacation options. We often joke that the 'secret' is out and these flight routes all but prove it isn't a joke at all.

The likes of the Kardashians, Jimmy Fallon, and Mr. Elon Musk are all used to flying into Sun Valley and judging by the large airport additions, their peers must know about the place, too.
