Ada County Sheriff Detention Deputy Arrested

Ada County is conducting an internal investigation after an Ada County Sheriff detention deputy was booked into jail and is accused of assaulting a woman over the weekend.

29 year old Troy Eisele, was charged with one felony count of attempted strangulation and two misdemeanor counts: domestic battery and false imprisonment.

Meridian police arrested Eisele at home Saturday and placed him in jail.

Eisele has been employed as a deputy with Ada County since March 29, 2015 and has been placed on administrative leave.
