Utah and BYU had both hosted ESPN’s College Gameday Show. Sadly, the Utah show was marked by controversy involving overly sensitive Pat McAfee. Both broadcasts were a victory for the Big 12, which is now looking for a new commissioner. Those appearances helped fuel the national audience that wasn’t disappointed with the heavy-hitting, nonstop action.

Although many thought the game was over, the Cougars stormed back to take the lead, scoring 20 unanswered points—the Utes continue to win and impress the College Football Playoff Committee. The team is now on track for a top-four spot if they win out. However, considering how turbulent the season has been so far, it’s easier said than done.
