From northwest metal bands to English indie rock, there’s a wide variety of different artists performing across the Treasure Valley throughout this week.

Blistered Earth: June 10

For all you Metallica fans, you’re in for a treat this Friday at 8 PM as the Metallica tribute band makes its way to the Treasure Valley to perform at The Knitting Factory Concert House. Expect lots of guitar solos and head banging going on at this show.

Black Mountain: June 10

This Canadian band brings its indie rock style to the Neurolux this Friday at 7:30 PM in support of their latest record, set to be released on Jagjaguwar Records later this year.

Modern Baseball & Joyce Manor: June 9

The El Korah Shrine only hosts concerts every once in a while, yet when they do, it’s always a treat. This time the Philadelphia rock band Modern Baseball takes the stage with opening act and fellow rock band Joyce Manor on Thursday starting at 6:30 PM.

The Wombats: June 7

Tuesday night at 7:30 PM, the Liverpool band The Wombats will be performing at the Neurolux and will be their English-tinted rock and roll to the Treasure Valley.

Walking Corpse Syndrome: June 9

Another treat for metal fans, this band from Missoula, Montana will be bringing their noisy heavy metal songs to The Shredder for a concert on Thursday at 7 PM.
