An Idaho Senator had told a state publication that he will introduce legislation that will charge doctors and mothers with a charge of first degree murder for having a abortion in Idaho.  Freshman Moscow Senator Dan Foreman told the Lewiston News, 'I don't care what people think of me, I'm here in the legislature to do what's right for the people,' from the Idaho Statesman.

The state senator's bill is bound to get national and local attention.  Idaho's legislation have been covered routinely by CNN and MSNBC usually in a negative light.  Foreman is an Air Force Veteran and a retired police officer who believes his law will change the state and the country.

"It would be ground breaking, I believe my position is supported by the Idaho Constitution and the US Constitution,' he tells the paper.

Considering the attention this story is already getting, it will be interesting if anyone cosponsors the bill with Foreman.  He'll need all the help he can get to get his bill to a committee hearing.   We'll continue to cover this story every morning.  Let us know what you think!
