The Most Expensive eBay Items From Idaho Will Cost You A Fortune

You never know what you're going to stumble across on eBay, especially when you search "Idaho." If you don't have a large sum of money lying around, you may want to avoid sorting from the highest priced items too. However, if you want to see some cool things you might not normally come across, you should do exactly what I did. Three items are listed on eBay that caught my attention, and two of them will cost you more than $25,000. 

What's on eBay for over $25,000 that could cost that much from Idaho?  

The first item is being sold for $27,500 and is titled a "Vintage Antique Chief Gas Gasoline Petroleum Porcelain Sign 6 Ft Rare Idaho." The other thing from Idaho is titled "Rare, Whole Idaho Star Garnet Crystal, 1lb 4oz," with an asking price of $25,000.

According to Automobiliasource.com, some Chief Gasoline signs never even made it up. Inland Refinery created the brand and operated between 1939 and 1957 out of Spokane, Washington, with plans to open gas stations in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. Aftering opening their first station in Spokane, they were bought out by Wasatch Oil, "The original signs went into storage with little to no value, only to start surfacing in the 1990s when a few of these signs in NOS condition turned up in an antique store in Seattle." 

Idaho Star Garnet Crystal: 

Idaho is known as the "Gem State" and produces up to 72 different types of precious and semi-precious stones. According to the seller, these Star Garnet Crystals have only been found around the Emerald Creek drainage in Clarkia, Idaho, and an area in India.
