This Is Your Final Weekend at Boise's Barbacoa Rooftop Bar

This week really has been the ultimate taste of Boise Fall--sunny, warm, and it has us wondering: has summer finally said farewell?

It's Idaho and really, who knows..but a few signs are pointing to...YES.

The summer of 2026 gave us a whole bunch of 'just Boise things' that can't be beat anywhere else in the nation. Some of the very best outdoor activities on the globe, outdoor concerts, patio season, family gatherings and bbq's--and yes: rooftop drinking.

While we enjoyed all of the above, those triple digit days won't be missed by many.

While we look forward to the change in season--what may be Boise's most popular rooftop destination has announced their final weekend dates for the Summer of 2026 and it's literally this coming weekend.

The last weekend to enjoy Barbacoa's rooftop in Boise will be September 18th and 19th at Luna Bar!

Each summer, Barbacoa's 'Luna Bar' is bustling.

Best known for their next level views of Boise's foothills and those half-off drinks from 4:00 to 6:00 daily. That very bar will be THE place to enjoy a literally perfect weather weekend!

You can expect the bar to feature some of Boise's best DJ's throughout the day and night, including Eddy V, who will be traveling to Boise from Salt Lake City just for the event.

There will also be a major giveaway; one rooftop guest will be landing a VIP road-trip package to Salt Lake City to see Ella Langley, and more, at RedWest Music Festival!
