Despite the fact that Boise State didn't have a player as high profile as Ashton Jeanty this past season, it seems that they did have some really great players ready to go to the next level, as proven by last week's NFL Draft.

First round pick? No...not this year.

But taken 111th overall (which is impressive, by the way) was Kage Casey, an OL player from Boise State.

One prominent NFL fan account on X (Twitter, @AndyyNFL) said:

This is a cool strategic pick, with Ben Powers headed for free agency next year I believe the plan with Kage Casey will be to have him at LG, and ideally be the starter as soon as 2027. Casey started over 40 games for Boise State and that experience really shows up on tape, he's rock solid and constantly holds his ground against any assignment. With that being said he has below average length which allows defenders to get the point of attack initially and could be a drawback at the next level.

While there's nothing 'flashy' about being picked outside of the top 100 to the casual fan, many are singing the praise of the former Bronco who, it seems, will have a really solid shot at playtime this season.

Experts knew all along he'd be drafted. Perhaps the most fun about it all? He'll be playing for the Broncos--and still wearing Blue and Orange!

Not drafted, but signed? Zion Washington. He'll be headed to the Cleveland Browns!

Along with Casey and Williamson, some other Broncos have a chance to crack into the NFL ranks as well.

A'Marion Mccoy, Malakai Williams, and Mason Randolph have all been invited to workout with various NFL organizations to see if there's a place for them on their respective rosters-- exciting news for these young men and for Bronco fans that love watching the NFL!
