Football season is now in full swing and here in Boise, we've only had a small taste of it. Lucky for us, high school football is happening under stadium lights all across the Treasure Valley each Friday night.
No interest in high school football? Well, Boise State returns to the blue, finally, this week!
Football on Boise State's blue turf if an annual, fall staple. With the team three games into the season (and one bye week)--since the college football season began four weeks ago, the Broncos have only been on the blue turf once.
With a home game coming up this week, the Boise Police Department have a few reminders for folks that plan to attend the game.
Take a look at the tips and pointers that Boise Police want you to be aware of!
- Plan a Safe Ride: Police encourage you to take a designated driver, ride-share service, taxi, or the free Game Day Shuttle if you plan to drink.
- Alcohol Rules: Do you know about the 10 to 10 Zone? It allows alcohol consumption for those 21 and older from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on home game days. Alcohol outside of this zone—including parking lots and neighborhood streets—is not permitted.
- Respect Neighbors and Businesses: Please be courteous!
- Parking: Park legally and follow all posted signs. You don't want to get towed!
- Stadium Entry: To speed up security lines, remember that Boise State enforces a clear bag policy. Arrive early, only bring what you need!
