Not Even Top 10… Idaho Snubbed From Most Patriotic States List

Here in Idaho everyone cares very deeply about our country. All around Idaho residents are very proud to be from America. They are extremely patriotic and of course with 4th of July right around the corner Idahoans couldn't be more excited for the celebrations.

Patriotism is something that flows through the veins of Idahoans and you would think that makes Idaho one of the most patriotic places in the country... Well you thought WRONG!

Idahoans love to talk about America and how happy they are to be here. So how did they end up falling short?

Well according to a new ranking that was released Idaho is only the 18th most patriotic country ahead of 4th of July this year. This honestly seems like a bit of a shock but we know deep down that Idaho is very patriotic.

Here is some key information the study found:

• Overall Rank: 18^th
• 13^th – Average Number of Military Enlistees per 1,000 Civilian Adults
• 8^th – Peace Corps Volunteers per Capita
• 13^th – Volunteer Rate
• 16^th – Veterans per 1,000 Civilian Adults
• 1^st – Civics Education Requirement
• 2^nd – Volunteer Hours per Resident
• 10^th – AmeriCorps Volunteers per Capita

Do you think these things determine how patriotic a state is?
