Nobody likes to find out they're being underpaid. It burns you to the core of your being when you discover there's someone (or in this case, lots of someones) out there doing the exact same job as you, but they're being paid more money for it.

Idaho manufacturing jobs are not paying nearly as well as they are in other states, and the numbers prove it.

The median annual wage for manufacturing jobs in Idaho is around $36,700. The highest median annual wage comes from Washington D.C., where workers are averaging over $62,000 a year. By the way, that puts Idaho ast the 8th lowest state on the median wage scale.

That's correct. Manufacturing jobs in Washington D.C. are paying almost double what they pay in Idaho. One could imagine how this could anger a lot of people.

As of the writing of this article, there are over 53,000 Idahoans who make their living in the manufacturing industry.
