Major Country Star Cancels Idaho ‘Pardi’, Reschedules for 2027

If there is one thing that Boise loves, it is some live music in the summertime.

Sure, concerts are a great time no matter the time of year--especially if you're a lover of live music.  Summertime in the Treasure Valley, though? Live music at one of our many amazing venues in town just hits different.

This time of year, it's almost overwhelming to even try and keep track of who is in town. Just a couple of months ago, Kaleo, Zach Topp, and AJR were all in town on the same night. Three A-list acts and we had to choose which show to attend!

Summer 'concert season' is behind us now which leaves many feeling like they will take a ticket to just about anything.

Set to hit the stage this weekend? Country star Jon Pardi!

Unfortunately for the Ford Idaho Center and country music fans in the Treasure Valley, the 'Pardi' is going to have to wait.

Pardi announced the cancelation or rather, the 'postponement' on his social media pages:

Loveland, West Valley City and Nampa, I hate to do this, but unfortunately I’m still sick with a deep chest infection and we have to postpone our shows this weekend. I was looking forward to getting out there with y’all and appreciate everyone’s understanding while I take some time to get better.

It didn't take long for comments to flood in, especially from Idaho.

This isn't the first time he has had to reschedule on us!

The upside on all of this? There is indeed a date for the upcoming show: May 8th of 2027!

It may feel like a long time from now, but we're just glad to hear it wasn't an all-out cancelation.
