2025 has been one heck of a decade, hasn't it? It's been less than one month, and it feels like the world has been turned topsy-turvy. So of course Oregon is going to try and take advantage by suggesting the Oregon-Idaho border be changed.

We're not making this up.

The Oregon Legislature is suggesting a change be made to the Oregon-Idaho border.

Why? It's wordy, but here's the best explanation we could find:

The bill states that the Washington/Oregon border was slightly relocated in 1958, but does not mention that change wasn’t over a difference in political ideologies. The border change was an interstate compact related to the Columbia River. It was needed due to changes in the main channel of the river that resulted in confusion and disputes over enforcement and administration of state laws.

So, we're taking that as IDAHO IS COMING FOR OUR BORDERS, Y'ALL!

No idea if this will actually come to fruition, or if it'll even make a difference if it does, but think about all the maps we'll have to edit.

That's going to be a lot of work.

We hope Oregon doesn't do anything sudden, because it's honestly a gorgeous state to go visit. If you've never been, here's one spot we believe you absolutely have to check out at least once.

Experience One of the Most Scenic Hikes on the Oregon Coast

In 1806 Captain Clark of the Corps of Discovery described what is now Ecola State Park in Oregon as “…the grandest and most pleasing prospects which my eyes ever surveyed…”. I completely agree with Captain Clark and that’s why I make it a point to visit the park, which is near Cannon Beach, each year. And, there’s no better time than right now! Scroll down and take a gander at nature's glory.
