Protesting Tesla? That Could Get You Run Over In Idaho
It's our right as Americans to make our voices heard, right? We have freedom of speech, and are welcome to let our opinions be known, right? Neither one of those things could end up with you getting runover by a Tesla, right?
This is about to get weird.
What happened?
There was a violent incident that occurred at a Tesla dealership, resulting in the Meridian Police Department intervening and making an arrest.
Around 30 protestors and 200 counter protesters gathered at the Tesla dealership on Franklin road, where things turned violent once the crowd size began to increase.
According to police, 70-year-old Christopher Talbot made a nasty gesture (we're guessing a middle finger?) toward a counter protestor. He then proceeded to hit the victim in question with his car.
Are there more details?
This is the latest from the Meridian Police Department:
Reports indicate the victim had been driving a truck with pro-Trump flags and had just parked and exited his vehicle when Talbot struck him with his car. The victim drove himself to a local hospital, where he was treated and released [with] non-life-threatening injuries.
No matter if we're protesting, arguing, or disagreeing, violence is never, ever the answer. If you have any additional information about the above incident, police are asking you to get in touch immediately.

Perhaps you've found yourself protest Tesla as of late. Not because of Elon Musk's recent antics, but because of all the recalls their vehicles keep undergoing!
Not in the loop? Tesla vehicles have had numerous recalls as of late. FYI:
