Thanksgiving falls on a different day nearly every single year.

If you're worrying more about when Thanksgiving dinner is as opposed to what you're actually eating, you're not alone. It can be pretty confusing trying to keep track of all the special dates and holidays that land between Halloween and New Year's Eve. That's what we're here for.

While you might think Thanksgiving follows suit with Christmas, being the same date on the calendar year after year, you'd be sadly mistaken.

Thanksgiving is a rogue holiday.

Thanksgiving doesn't care for social norms, and isn't going to bend of the will of one particular date on a calendar. Oh no. Thanksgiving has to make it all complicated.

For those keeping track at home, we celebrate Thanksgiving here in the U.S. on the fourth Thursday in November, every year.

This year, Thanksgiving will be taking place on Thursday, November 28th, 2024 in Idaho. Who knows when it happens in 2025.
