Nampa Man Charged With Leaving His Kids In Car

31 year old Navarro Chavalla was arrested after leaving his children in the car while shopping at the North Marketplace in Nampa on Saturday.

Nampa Police say just after 5 p.m. they received report of children left unattended in a car at the shopping complex.

Officers found two children, under the age of three, left alone in the car that was parked in the sun with all the windows rolled up.

The children were both found in distress and were transported to the local hospital for medical evaluation.

The children’s father was charged with felony injury to children. The kids are now in protective custody.
