The Idaho Legislators made a mistake in not working on Medicaid expansion in week one. Let's hope they learn from that mistake and not pass a flawed bill while running to get out of town.

The law enforcement officials write that they lack the 'field equipment' to tell the difference between Hemp and Marijuana.

In a letter to Legislators, the Idaho Prosecuting Attorneys Association said, 'HB 122 includes no protections for law enforcement and will effectively legalize Marijuana in this state."

“The intent of the legislation is to tax the vape material with nicotine in it.” He said. “The 15% percentage is very similar to how cigarettes are taxed.”

A bill that would better align Idaho’s code on state lands with federal lands law to ban “exploding targets” during the designated fire season is making headway at the State Legislature.

The full House will now vote on the legislation. If approved, it will move on to the Senate.

“Current HOA covenants are often irrational and unreasonably restrictive given existing solar panel technology.” Rep. Rubel said

Currently their is not protection for first responders who save animals by rescuing them from cars. They can be prosecuted by local law enforcement officials for doing their jobs.

If the law passes the Senate it will move to the House for approval. If it passed through the House and Governor Little signs the bill, the law will go into effect July 1.
