As a non-coffee drinker, I often feel out of place. Non-coffee drinkers get shunned in ways that only smokers must understand. If you walk into your morning meeting with a biodegradable cup with a cardboard sleeve around it, you become instantly viewed as cooler than if you walk in with a 20 oz. Soda that you bought in the vending machine. Both provide caffeine, but only one offers cool points.

After deciding that I would try to sit with the cool kids at work, I decided to pick up a hot chocolate on the way to work. The cardboard sleeve hides what the barista writes on the cup, making it the perfect way to mask your social insecurities for that first meeting of the day.

Now that the cold weather appears to be here for the season, I decided to take my new hot chocolate to a different level and find the best hot chocolate in Boise. I have taken into account reviews from Google, Yelp, and Facebook to create my ranking system. So we're clear. I just averaged the three ratings together. I didn't spend a lot of time on my algorithm. I just kept it basic, like my hot chocolate.  Here are the top 8 places in Boise for Hot Chocolate according to that logic.
