Tesla Cybertrucks in Idaho... you either hate them... or probably hate them.

Despite boasting a variety of "futuristic qualities", one could argue that the Tesla Cybertruck is among the most hated in the entire Gem State.

Now, an Idaho man has drawn national attention and sparked controversy with his decision to switch from a standard pick-up truck to Tesla's Cybertruck for work.

"So, what I'm about to say is about to cause more controversy..."

A TikTok account called @MeetTheSmithFamily has caused a whirlwind of conversation regarding Tesla's truck of the future and its place in the Gem State. Thanks to USA Today, we learned the man behind the video is named Braden, a welder/farmer who lives in Idaho Falls.

"Am I the only one that's just beating the crap out of their Cybertruck?" Braden says in his viral TikTok video about the truck that has amassed over 1 million views.

"So, what I'm about to say is about to cause more controversy... but let's dive into it."

Braden then shows us the Cybertruck's outlets and cargo space which he says, is the main reason why he prefers the Tesla for work.

Probably one of my favorite features though, that sold me on it was having this 50 amp style plug in the back here, and it's running a 240-volt welder and I also got another pigtail going out to a plasma cutter behind it, there's the compressor, and there's still plenty of space for all your tools below... and what's odd is I still have more bed space than I had in my old pickup that had a similar set-up.

A majority of the recent comments are supportive with people commending Smith for using the truck as it was "intended."

On the other hand, some had their doubts.

"After welding for 20 mins do you have to push it home? lol," one person commented.

Despite some criticism, Smith doesn't appear to be slowing down and has since posted several videos showcasing his Cybertruck in action on the farm.

Does this change your mind about the Tesla Cybertruck?
