KTVB Anchor Morgan Romero Lists Gorgeous Dress on Marketplace

It's not everyday you come across a Facebook Marketplace item listed by an Emmy Award-winning journalist. Yet that's exactly what happened during a late-night scroll through Boise Marketplace over the weekend.

Eagle High School alumna and beloved KTVB news anchor Morgan Romero listed a gorgeous dress for sale in late August. The investigative reporter posted a picture of herself in the summery Hello Molly maxi dress for the listing.

Despite her high-profile position for Idaho's largest media organization, Romero appears to be a business-savvy bargain hunter, a doll on a dime, or perhaps both. Unfamiliar with Hello Molly, we visited the boutique's website. What we found all but shocked us! Hello Molly is an Australian-based retailer that carries "on-trend wardrobe essentials that don't break the bank." How cool is that?

During an era saturated with unrelatable icons and influencers removed from quaint concepts like bills and budgets, we find Romero's affordable and oh-so-adorable style refreshing!

You might think it's strange, but her choice to sell the garment as opposed to donating it makes Romero even more relatable. She's not out for publicity or looking for tax write-offs disguised as charitable giving. For all we know, she's just another girl with a closet full of fabulous crap she could sell to pay off student loans or put towards a down payment on a home. Who knows?
