Egg Products Sold In Idaho Recalled For Contamination
The only thing that feels affordable these days in 2025 is...a little peace and quiet. If you're even able to achieve that.
What's not affordable? Eggs! They're expensive as hell, the prices continue to rise, and we were already feeling pretty tight budget-wise. So this news couldn't come at a worse time.
What's with the recall?
Well, you're not going to like this part. Over 212,000 pounds of egg product have been recalled, and these are food products that were sold nation-wide. The items in question are numerous liquid eggs products from Cargill Kitchen solutions, which are being recalled because they may have been mixed with a cleaning solution. Yikes.
What products should I look out for?
There's a bunch:
- Egg beaters Original Liquid Egg Substitute
- Egg beaters Cage-Free Original Liquid Egg Substitute
- Egg beaters Cage-Free Original Frozen Egg Substitute
- Egg beaters No Enjauladas Original Substituo de Huevo Congelado
- Bob Evans Better'n Eggs Made with Real Egg Whites
We told you it's a lot.
Oh god. I have these in my fridge. What do I do?
