Idaho Ranked 22nd In The Country For Being Charitable
Especially around the holidays, we'd all like to think of ourselves as someone who gives back, right? A person who takes care of others, donates their time, and tries to make the world a better place.
First of all, we can all be that. It doesn't take much to do a little good. Unfortunately, it looks like Idaho could really step it up in the "doing good" department as we head into 2025.
Idaho ranked 22nd in the country for "Most Charitable States."
According to Wallet Hub, the Gem State is definitely full of some kind people, but nowhere near some other states in the U.S. They ranked all 50 states based on a few different criteria:
- Volunteer rate
- Percentage of donated income
- Amount of people who donate time
- Charities per capita
- and more
The kindest state in the country in 2024 (according to this study) is none other than Wyoming. What surprised us was the least charitable state, and that's New Mexico.
Are you giving back, or finding a way to volunteer this holiday season? Let us know, so we can spread the word for all to hear!
