Over 100,000 American Vehicles Recalled, Many Sold In Idaho
Good morning, and happy Monday! It's a great day here in the beautiful state of Idaho.
Well, for most of us. If you drive one of the vehicles on the list below, your day is going to be less great, and much more "meh."
What now? I can't even keep track of all the things I should be paying attention to in 2025.
Oh girl, we feel you. Here's the deal.
Last week, over 100,00 vehicles here in the U.S. were recalled due to safety concerns. That includes numerous Ford and Lincoln models, some of which were sold, or are now being driven, in Idaho.
What's the recall about?
2018-2020 Ford Expeditions and Lincoln Navigators are being recalled over a seat belt issue. Apparently, it may inadvertently lock while you're driving, which could clearly be detrimental to your overall safety in a vehicle.
That's my car! What do I do?
Pretty easy, actually! Don't worry. You can check out the full Recall Report here, to see if your vehicle is due for that recall, and how to actually bring your vehicle in for the work.

Doesn't it feel like this just happened a couple of weeks ago? It wasn't Ford and Lincoln, but yes. Recently, thousands of Toyota vehicles were recalled, again with some of them being right here in Idaho.
Honestly, it's probably a good idea once every few months to Google your vehicle to see if any recalls are out there. Yes, they'll usually mail or email, but you know how you are about checking those.
