Salvation Army in Boise Needs Meat Donations
If you've been wanting to help people during the season of giving, this might be the perfect opportunity for you to step up. The Salvation Army in Boise is in need of more meat donations so they can help families put food on the table.
The Salvation Army is currently about 100 turkeys short of what they need to help the families that have requested help. The amazing organization has already helped about 1,200 families so far this holiday season, but the need is always increasing.
If you have ham or chicken that you would like to donate, they will gladly accept those as well.
If you want to make a donation, they have made it very simple. Just drop off your protein donations at their main facility located at 9492 West Emerald Street in Boise. Their doors are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. They will take care of the rest, and a huge thank you to everyone who stops by with a donation.
