The hunt is on for $25,000 in Utah as treasure hunters are trying to decipher a poem that holds clues to its location. The treasure hunt is organized by John Maxim and David Cline, who started the hunt amidst the COVID-19 pandemic to give people a reason to get out of the house.

The riddle within the poem

There is a lot to unpack here but basically, the hunt begins with a poem that is filled with clues to the location of the treasure. We'll share the whole poem with you in a bit but here's a taste of what you can expect:

Begin your search where time was transcendent

Crack open the books they’re interdependent

Lift up your eyes and look for the mark

Hike to the tree that stands without bark

Pass the grain tower that looks out to the west

Not more than an hour you’ll know by its crest

Look down at your map to not wander with thirst

Remember two less than on top of the first

Sounds a bit tricky if we do say so ourselves. Let's look into this hunt deeper and who knows? It might land you $25,000...
