Miller's Mission Day 5 continued at the Nampa Wal Mart on Garrity and Franklin. Kevin Miller continued to ask for the 'Penny Patrol to bring in their pounds of pennies.'  Every penny can make a difference in the lives of Treasure Valley Families.

Memorial Day Weekend is the unofficial kickoff of the Summer Season. It seems that everyone has a kid that is graduating something.  It won't be long before the roads are packed with rows of cars heading out of town.

Carl, a local Vietnam Veteran, stopped by to donate a gallon full of pennies from a very special container.  It was a Jim Beam bottle that he and three other veterans emptied once they returned from the Vietnam War.  He wanted to make sure that the kids at the Boise Rescue Mission Summer program had the ability to go on field trips this Summer.

Miller's Mission continues till Saturday at 6pm.  However, the need will continue throughout the Summer.  Why not make a difference today, sometime in the future?  Your donations transform lives right here in the Treasure Valley.

Donating is easy, Kevin Miller will be at the Nampa Wal Mart on Garrity and Franklin.  You can volunteer or donate online anytime at boiserm.org.
