MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow Just Helped Trump Secure His 2020 Presidency
Here’s what happened since the mainstream media isn’t running with the story the same way they cover how Trump eats his steaks, or how intolerant liberals are at Apple stores.
At 5:36 p.m. on Tuesday night, Rachel Maddow tweeted that she had acquired President Donald Trump’s tax information, and hinted that she would share the information on her show later in the evening.
When the MSNBC host finally talked about Trump’s tax returns, the “breaking news” turned out to prove nothing, other than the fact that President Trump paid a crazy amount of taxes in 2005.
Rachel stated, “aside from the numbers being large, these pages are straightforward. He took a big write-down of $103 million. If you add up the lines for income, he made over $150 million. Mazel Tov!”
Yes, Mazel Tov indeed! Not only did Rachel Maddow NOT make Trump look like some tax-avoiding magician the liberals always painted him as, but she admitted that there was absolutely nothing sketchy in how he operates his businesses.
Not only did Rachel help Donald Trump’s case, but she didn’t even provide the exclusive. The White House released the information at least twenty minutes before the MSNBC host got around to it.
In an official statement blasting the MSNBC host, the White House stated, “you know you are desperate for ratings when you are willing to violate the law to push a story about two pages of tax returns from over a decade ago.”
