The Walmart Code Every Idaho Shopper Should Know Before It’s Too Late
Have you ever walked in on a conversation and not understood what the two or more people were discussing? Regardless of where you live, many people don't speak English or prefer their native tongue when talking to another person of that nationality.
In the 1970s and 1980s, CB radio was a popular form of communication. Think of it as an audio Facebook or Instagram where truck and car drivers speak back and forth using their own language and names. For example, to say hello, most folks would say, "Breaker one nine, this is Pig Pen, I'm looking for Rubber Duck."
You can ask your parents and grandparents about the joys and pitfalls of CB radio; we're sure you'll get a chuckle out of them. The military and law enforcement have their own languages or codes they use to communicate with one another during crises or throughout the day.
It should come as no surprise that Walmart, the world's largest retailer, has its own set of codes. Explaining everything over the weekend would be a challenge if there was an emergency or another technical problem.
Is it appropriate to know Idaho Walmart employees' hidden language or secret codes? Although an international company based in Arkansas, Walmart significantly contributes to local nonprofits and charities.
We've put together an extensive list of code words and what they mean at your favorite Walmart whether you're shopping in Mountain Home, Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell, or Ontario. We don't want to alarm you but better safe than sorry.
