Skiers and Snowboarders rejoice! You can hit the slopes the day after Thanksgiving at Bogus Basin!

The snowstorm in our area has dropped a few inches on the mountain, but most of the snow is man-made this year. According to an article on KTVB, the mountain has a seven-inch base and nine-inches at the summit.

Either way, Bogus will be fully operating this weekend. Tickets for opening weekend are $39 for adults, $29 for teens and seniors, $19 for juniors, and kids are just $10.

Not a skier or snowboarder? The tubing hill will be open this Saturday and Sunday. It's just $15 per person for 1.5 hours.

Operating hours are as follows.

Friday, Nov. 20 - Sunday, Dec. 1st (9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)

Full 7-day a week operations will begin Dec. 7th.

Simplot Lodge and the Pioneer Lodge will be fully open as well as the rental and retail shops and the ski and snowboard school.

If you're looking to get some incredible gear and do a little good this holiday season. Stop by McU Sports as you head up to Bogus and take part in BUY 1, GET 1, GIVE 1. When you buy a pair of $20 socks, you get a pair of socks, and McU Sports will donate a pair to the Boise Rescue Mission to help the homeless population of the Treasure Valley. It's a win, win all the way around. Jeff will be hanging out at McU Sports on Saturday from 3-5. Stop on by and say hello!
