How Many People Live in Idaho Now? Idaho’s Population in 2022
With the mass influx of people moving here, I was really curious to see how Idaho’s population has changed over the last few years. I mean, I know we’ve grown... A LOT. But how much have we grown? What are Idaho’s current numbers?
According to World Population Review, Idaho’s population (so far) in 2022 is...
1,896,652 people.
When comparing that number to the rest of the United States, that ranks Idaho at #38.
California, Texas, and Florida lead the country for having the highest populations with nearly 92,000,000 people in just those 3 states combined. Suddenly, Idaho feels much smaller again.
I’m very happy to live in a state with under 2 million people. Idaho already seems too full and most other states have way more people. But the secret’s out, and I feel like more and more people are going to keep moving here.
While Idaho may be smaller, our growth is no joke. World Population Review highlighted...
“Most states are currently experiencing population growth, the greatest of which can be seen in Idaho, at 6.26%. Nevada and Arizona also have high population growth this year, at 5.23% and 5.06%, respectively.”
