The suspense is over. After years of work, thousands of pieces of printed advertising, and endless broadcast spots, decision time is here. Idahoans will choose the next governor, lieutenant governor, congressman and a plethora of other offices.

After twelve years, Governor Butch Otter is riding into the sunset. Regardless of your politics, he'll be charisma will be not be replicated.

Nine years have passed since Brad Little was appointed Lieutenant Governor of Idaho. Quarterbacking a room full of senators is easier said than done. He made it look easy. Elected leaders and voters will miss that Idaho touch.

Congressman Raul Labrador leaves his seat after eight years in office. The firebrand of the Idaho Statehouse and US Capitol will go behind a legacy of accountability that few could ever hope to match.

Campaigns remind me of being a kid preparing for a big test. You study, work hard, and hope you made the right choices in preparation. The campaign is over. Now we vote.
