After a week of giving, the Treasure Valley donated over 1.6 million pennies.  Thanks to you, the Spring 2019 Edition of Miller's Mission collected 16,743.00.  It goes without saying, 'that's a lot of PENNIES!'Thank you to everyone who collected and collected their pennies and hauled them to the Nampa Wal Mart on Garrity and Franklin Boulevard.  Thanks to Team Subaru, Camping World, Idaho Heating and Air, and the Boise Rescue Mission for their partnership.  A special thanks to Cap Ed Credit Union who let us use two change counting machines to get the final accurate count.

Just how long did it take to count so many pennies?  About three hours and a lot of patience from the Cap Ed Team.  Thanks to Hope Blooms Flowers and Things in Eagle for the use of their delivery van to haul the loot.  The money collected from your generosity will fund Summer programs for kids at the Boise Rescue Mission.

The Mission has served the needs of the homeless in Treasure Valley for over sixty years.  However, they also take care of veterans, recently released folks from prison and people trying to conquer drug addiction.

Miller's Mission began in 2010 with Kevin Miller living at the River of Life Rescue Mission.  Kevin Miller spent a week living there just like another guest.  Since then, Kevin Miller has lived at Wal Marts twice yearly raising funds and goods for the Boise Rescue Mission.
