Why American's new nonstop to Chicago benefits the entire Treasure Valley.  Find out when you can start scheduling your flights to the Windy City.    American Airlines will begin nonstop flights to Chicago beginning July 5th, reports the Idaho Business Journal.   The flight will be the third nonstop provided by American out of Boise.  The airline currently flies to Phoenix and Dallas without a layover or having passengers change planes.  They've added a larger plane to the Dallas route due to demand form Treasure Valley travelers.

The plane will have six first class seats and sixty four coach seats.  Connecting in Hare, should help passengers get to their destinations on the East Coast, or perhaps on the other side of the world, without excessive layovers at smaller hubs.  This is a big win for the airport and our area says Boise Airport Director Rebecca Hupp in a press release.

“Additional Chicago service is a big win for the Treasure Valley’s business community and residents. American Airlines has hundreds of connections from Chicago O’Hare, making East Coast and international travel a little bit easier.”

This is a welcomed move by American Airlines and continues to show how our area continues to grow.  More nonstop flights to and from Boise will help us attract more business and tourism.  I'm sure most of are looking forward to the day when we can tell our kids and grand kids about the days of limited nonstop flights out of the Treasure Valley.

Now if we could only come up with a solution to rush hour traffic on the Connector and Eagle Road:)
