It's been a few days since we moved out of the Nampa Walmart on Garrity and Franklin for the Fall edition of Miller's Mission benefiting the Boise Rescue Mission.  Thank you to all of you who donated everything from cash, clothes, turkey vouchers, and turkey vouchers.  Treasure Valley Families will have warm food to get them through the upcoming Thanksgiving/Christmas/Winter season.  I personally wanted to thank all of you who drove to Nampa and gave of your time, materials, and money.  We are so blessed to have so many Idahoans who care about their fellow Americans.

Thank you to the folks at Nampa Christian High School who joined us one morning with a donation.  The athletes and folks attending a basketball game took a collection of well over 750 dollars to help others in our area.

We'll let you know the total turkey and cash count once we get the totals in from our partners at Walmart.  A HUGE thanks to everyone associated with Walmart for promoting the turkey vouchers at any one of their locations.  The Boise Rescue Mission is already putting your donations to work.  Their first Saturday banquet was in Nampa and the Boise Banquet Wednesday in Boise.

On another personal note, I'd recommend volunteering at any one of our great nonprofit organizations.  If you're having a tough time during the holidays, working with the less fortunate will really make you appreciate what you have.

God Bless
