Who Will Solve Idaho’s Biggest Challenges to Its Future?

Idaho is not the best-kept secret in America any longer. Last week, as many as four national publications profiled the idyllic life of Gem State residents. If everyone wants to move to Idaho, what's the problem with living here? Idaho's limited government, pro-growth business environment, and affordable cost of living have been consistent factors influencing the massive amount of growth to Idaho.

Do you remember that famous old saying 'too much of a good thing?' Gem Staters are living that reality with so many people moving in. More people mean more problems to solve such as infrastructure, fuel costs, affordable homes, and my favorite education funding.

Idaho, unlike other states, is not burdened with high legacy costs like funding pensions. The challenge to the new governor and legislature will be how to solve the problems listed above. Campaign commercials may get you elected; it's solutions to real issues that get you re-elected.
