Meridian Idaho is the number one place to live in America, according to USA Today.

The criteria was put together by 24/7 Wall Street which included cost of living, affordability, schools, safety, and other factors.  Meridian's safety and job growth were mentioned in the article as one the reasons more folks from around the country are moving to Meridian.  The city's population has grown more than four times the national growth rate over the last five years.

The article states that Meridian's unemployment rate is lower than the state of Idaho's.  The average home price is $193,900 and over twenty seven percent of Meridian Residents have at least a bachelor's degree.
