Boise Fire Dept. Joins Toys For Tots Effort

The Boise Fire Department is once again joining with The Idaho Foodbank and the Toys for Tots program seeking to make a difference for Treasure Valley Families.Every Boise Fire Station will now have donation boxes that need to be filled with new, unwrapped toys and canned food.  You can drop off your donations between 8am and 8pm everyday of the week.

If you're looking to drop off toys, the Marines will be picking up all toy donations on December 20th.  Toys will be distributed to needy Treasure Valley kids courtesy of the Marines' Toys for Tots program.  The program's goal is to provide every child in our area with a present to open on Christmas Day.

Here is a list of most need food items from the Idaho Foodbank: canned fruits and vegetables, packaged grains, pantry staples (canola or other cooking oils, whole wheat or all-purpose flour, etc.  Food items will be accepted until January 1.
