Kevin Miller starts the show by examining a case out of the Midwest. A Minnesota city council is reconsidering its decision to skip the Pledge of Allegiance at the start of meetings.Last week, the St. Louis Park City Council voted unanimously to change its procedural rules so that the Pledge was no longer mandatory for each meeting.  One member said the change was intended to "creat a more welcoming environment to a diverse community".However, the decision sparked a major backlash from the community, prompting the council to promise to "revisit" the decision.  As it stands, the new rule will go into effect on July 15th if it's not changed before then.  Kevin Miller asks the following questions: Do you think the Pledge of Allegiance should be mandatory?  Will the Council face another backlash if they change their decision?  Treasure Valley listeners call in to respond to his questions.  Today's guests: 6:35 a.m. - Fox News Radio's Tonya J Powers with details of last night's Democrat presidential candidate debate ; 7 a.m. - Phil Kerpen of American Committment talks about energy policy.  He and Kevin Miller look at the high cost of gasoline and its impact on the folks in the Treasure Valley. ; 8 a.m. - U.S. Representative from Idaho's 1st Congressional District, Russ Fulcher with a Washington Update ; 8:35 a.m. - Fox News' Jon Decker reports live from the White House.  Kevin Miller takes calls from listeners concerning the president's trip to Asia.
