Halloween Night Safety Tips
Here are some much needed safety tips to make sure that you and your trick or treaters have a safe Halloween. It is the time of year when everyone is young at heart. Whether you're staying home to give out candy or going door to door with your kiddos, here are some safety tips from AAA.
Slow is safe, so be sure to drive at least 5 mph below the posted speed limit in neighborhoods where kids are outside trick or treating.
Make sure you're looking for kids in costume as they cross the street. Be especially careful of kids with dark costumes.
Be extra careful and always have your headlights on, even during the day.
Put your head on a swivel looking for kids who may be distracted crossing streets and sidewalks.
