Thursday Morning the Idaho Republican Party held their Unity Rally at the statehouse steps in front of the Capitol Building.  Jonathan Parker, the chairman of the state party, was the master of ceremonies.  Congressman Raul Labrador and Doctor Tommy Ahlquist appeared and gave their support to Lieutenant Governor Brad Little who spoke at the event.  The lieutenant governor praised his former rivals and urged the party to come together to beat the Democrats in the Fall.

Russ Fulcher, who won the nomination to replace Congressman Labrador, thanked his opponents for their support.  The rest of the winners spoke briefly to the crowd of over one hundred people.

Mr. Parker took to the podium thanking the candidates, their supporters and everyone for participating in the process.  Once the speech concluded, several current elected officials spoke to the press.  Janice McGeachin missed the even due to a previously scheduled flight to Belize.
