Mark your calendars. Idaho Patriots are invited for a special celebration at the state capitol honoring America. It's the yearly Patriots Day event dedicated to all the men and women who gave their lives so that we may live in our great country.This yearly event, which will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 19th will once again remind the Treasure Valley of the sacrifices beginning in Lexington and Concord to those who protect America today from enemies foreign and domestic.  Music will be provided by John Hoff of Weiser.  Terry Shepard, Ben Franklin Impersonator, will provide a dedication honoring Lavoy Finicum.

The Patriot's Day Proclamation will be read by Governor Otter as part of the ceremony.  Eric EJ Parker is the keynote speaker.  Students from the Northwest Liberty will be singing 'My Country Tis of Thee.'  Russ Smerz, Paul O'Leary, Ryan Davidson and other freedom fighters will speak to Idaho's roll in protecting liberty.
